In 2019, we established a new Access & Equity subdivision of our team to expand and rethink our outreach efforts for the future. The first endeavor that our Access & Equity team dove into was the development of a partnership with the Kennett Garage and Youth Center in Kennett Square, PA. The Garage is an organization that provides a structured after-school environment for middle and high school students who are primarily from low-income families. Every week throughout the year, members of the team go to The Garage to tutor students in various subjects, with a focus on science and mathematics. Additionally, we visit The Garage once a week to work with the students on LEGO Mindstorm Robotics.
